Ingredients:
1.50 oz Okanagan Spirits Gin
0.75 oz Aquavitus Akvavit
0.75 oz Pineapple juice
0.50 oz Freshly squeezed lemon juice
0.50 oz Simple syrup
4 Blackberries

Method:
1. Briefly muddle the blackberries in a cocktail shaker and then add the rest of the ingredients before dry shaking.
2. Pour unstrained into a chilled glass with plenty of ice.
3. Garnish with a mint sprig.

Ingredients:
1.50 oz Brennivín aquavit
0.50 oz Dolin Blanc vermouth
0.25 oz Rabarbaro Zucca amaro
1.00 oz Stiegl Goldbräu pilsner beer

Method:
1. In a mixing glass, muddle three or four slices of cucumber into a juicy pulp.
2. Fill the mixing glass with ice, then add the Brennivín, vermouth and Zucca. Stir well. Lastly, add the Stiegl beer.
3. Strain the drink through a fine-mesh sieve into an ice-filled rocks glass.
4. With a paring knife or peeler, cut off a strip of lemon peel and twist it over the drink to express the lemon oil. Discard the peel.
5. Garnish with more slices of cucumber and serve.

DID YOU KNOW… that Aquavit was historically used for its claimed medicinal properties in the 1500’s? Today, it is primarily produced in Scandinavia and is known for its distinctive flavour, including aromatic herbs and spices including Caraway and Dill. Of the two winning Aquavit’s from the VISC, one is produced in Iceland and is known as the country’s favourite spirit, while the other is produced right here in British Columbia.

Method:
1. Pre-chill a cocktail glass by placing it into the freezer for 5 minutes.
2. Place the banana, lime juice and the chili powder into a cocktail shaker and muddle to combine.
3. Add the grappa, egg, Varnelli Moka , cream, and cocoa powder to the shaker, and dry shake for 40 seconds to combine.
4. Fill the shaker with ice and then vigorously shake for an additional 40 seconds.
5. Strain the mixture into the chilled cocktail glass and serve immediately.

Ingredients:
2.00 oz Okanagan Spirits Gin
1.00 oz Fresh lemon juice
0.50 oz Simple syrup
0.50 Okanagan Spirits Blackberry Liqueur

Method:
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake together the first three ingredients and strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice, mounded high.

Drizzle Blackberry liqueur over the top and garnish with a slice of lemon, two blackberries and a short straw.
